Consultation is by appointment only. There is no walk in service.
Each GP appointment is 15 minutes only, so please arrive for your appointment on time. If you arrive late then your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
If you require to be seen urgently, please phone the surgery as early as possible. You will be asked a short series of questions by a member of our Clinical Support Team and you will be triaged accordingly. This means we will determine whether or not you need to speak to or been seen that same day by either an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or the Duty Doctor.
Please remember to cancel our appointment if you no longer require it, or cannot attend.
Telephone appointments are also available and can be booked in much the same way as traditional appointments.
If you feel your problem can be managed via a telephone conversation
(e.g. Test results, or medication queries) please ask the Receptionist to book a telephone consultation.
DNA (Did Not Attend)
If a patient fails to attend a pre-booked appointment on more than 5 occasions within a 6 month period, a letter will be sent to the patient advising them that a further occurrence could risk removal from the practice list.
If a patient fails to attend a further 2 appointments the matter will be discussed at a practice meeting and an agreement will be reached as to whether the patient will be removed from the practice list, in which case a formal letter will be issued.
